It is one of the larger Gahnia species and the fastest growing of the Gahnia that we grow.
The leaves are harsh to touch and the seed heads are long and drooping, with dark brown nuts
It is natuarally found in light forest and scrub and is mostly used for revegetation.
Gahnia setifolia is dfifficult to propogate.
Do not open the roots when planting this species as it will not tolerate root disturbance.
