Scandia rosifolia

Native Angelica, koheriki

Scandia rosifolia is a native groundcover with glossy dark green foliage and beautiful white flowers over the summer.

It is known as the NZ Native Angelica and is naturally found in Auckland in coastal situations on cliffs and banks.

It deserves to be much more widely grown (especially within native plantings or mixed perennial gardens).

It is a threatened species, and is currently classified as 'declining' in the wild.
