A attractive groundcover with round bright green leaves and red and yellow flowers in Summer, followed by large red berries.

It has a creeping habit and will cover large areas.

It is deciduous in colder areas in Winter.

It is found naturally in coastal areas from North Cape to Coromandel but is not found in the Auckland Ecological Region.
