Doodia australis

It is a common fern of coastal open sites or light scrub.

It is also called the rasp fern because its fronds are somewhat harsh to touch.
New fronds are reddish pink while old fronds are dark green.

Doodia australis has better foliage color in full sun.

It is a fairly hardy low growing fern that form clumps.
Previously known as Doodia media.
