Libertia grandifolia

New Zealand Iris

These seed capsules open almost immediately after ripening.
Protect from slugs and snails.

  • Libertia ixioides has bright yellow seed pods remaining on the plant for months and the flowers are among the leaves.
  • Libertia grandifolia has black seed pods and the flower extend above the leaves.
  • H 40cm x W 40cm
  • Shade or semi-shaded
  • Hardy
