Retail Customer Orders and Dispatch Policy

Retail Orders are accepted by phone, email and online.

All retail customers are welcome to visit our nursery to view the stock and order directly.

All online orders are secure from this website and are dispatched ASAP after full payment has been made into the business bank account.

We use recycled cardboard boxes as packaging for all courier orders . This reduces the cost to you and is more sustainable for the environment.

We ensure the dispatch and delivery time is as short as possible.

We provide a low cost, reliable, local, short haul and national courier distribution service to our customers.

The total courier cost is automatically calculated on the website when you place your order, according to the grade and weight of the plants.
Full tracking of your order is available online 24/7 with Fastway Couriers.

Greater Auckland City by Courier

The amount charged to all customers is $17.25  per carton. The maximum weight per carton is 25kg.
Add $10.00 per carton for Rural delivery 

For Waiheke and Great Barrier Islands $22.00  per carton.The maximum weight per carton is 25kg.
Great Barrier parcels are couriered to the ferry terminal only.

 North Island by Courier

$22.00 per carton. The maximum weight per carton is 25kg.
Add $10.00 per carton for Rural delivery

South Island by Courier

$36.00 per 10kg carton
Add $10.00 per carton for Rural delivery
 

International Shipping Policy

Regrettably we do not send plants overseas.


Customer Guarantee

We guarantee the quality of the plants supplied to be of the highest standard.

Every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure that quality plants are grown and supplied true to name and description.

No warranty is given as to the growth, quality, productiveness or description of plants supplied.

Complaints Procedure and Returns


The customer is to inspect the goods upon delivery and advise The Native Plant Centre Ltd of any shortages, damages and poor quality as soon as practicable, and at most within four days of delivery.

The customer agrees to hold all goods until a course of action has been agreed. Liability is limited to the replacement of any defective plants.

The Native Plant Centre Ltd gives no undertaking to replace failures.

It is the customer’s responsibility to select and be satisfied with the quality of individual plants purchased and to ensure the fitness or suitability of application for the plants purchased.

Returns, other than of non-complying goods, are solely within the discretion of The Native Plant Centre Ltd.
